  • Improved – Department and Comment is added in Deadline pmod.
  • Improved – String value parameters are supported now for the pmod that requires adding properties. For example, you can set AltIniPath of Deadline pmod now.
  • Improved – RenderElement pmos – Arnold AOV support, Turning on/off per AOV driver.
  • Improved – .cxr format will not display “Invalid Format” in RenderOutput pmod when the current renderer is Corona.
  • Improved – If a pmodifier is disabled in the ::base, it will not be displayed in passes.
  • Fixed – Skip the network render manager check when previewing and rendering locally.
  • Fixed – When there is no local pmodifiers, the [+] icon was not displayed which blocked expanding.
  • Fixed – When a passgroup is selected, output file type coudn’t be edited. It is fixed now.

renderStacks 3.64 has been released.

3.64 – 11/18/2024

  • New – The Pass Filter lets you display only specific passes based on the applied filter. It also supports filtering by pass color and pass set. Check the video here.
  • New – Camera Modifier StoreView – This feature lets you save a snapshot of the perspective view as if it were a camera view. Check the video here.
  • Improved – When renderStacks data is loded and the dialog is cloed, the ophaned pass data will be cleaned up.
  • Improved  – If the V-Ray raw image file output is off, VRayOptionRE will no longer be added.
  • Improved – Better USD module check.
  • Improved – Pass without pmodifier will not show expand[+] button anymore.
  • Fixed – If the user turns on multi-visibility mode but doesn’t add any visibility modifier, all objects were hidden when a pass was activated. Now, it will do nothing until you add a Visibility modifier

  • New –RenderOutput and RenderOutputVRay – Added Element Active checkbox so you can globally turn on/off render elements
  • New – RenderOutputVRay – Disable VRayVFBRegion and disable test resolution are now exposed in UI. In the past, it always had ran.
  • Improved – Deadline submitter dialog will be automatically closed before submitting to Deadline.
  • Improved – multi Visibility pmodifier update correctly when the modifier is edited.
  • Fixed – Pass Level Pmodifier Display is now working again.
  • Fixed – ViewportBackground pmodifier file assignment was not stored.
  • Fixed – VRayOverrideMtl pmod rollout height will be correctly set when the UI scale is not 100%.
  • Fixed – Rename dialog was showing the raw name for pmodifiers. The raw name is http encoded. So, if you have used a special character, you would have had a problem.

  • New – Capture Viewport Selected Obj Values. This updates the value of items of the selected objects in the viewport
  • New – Multi node rename. In the past, you can only rename a node when only single node is selected. Now it will popup rename dialog for each node if multiple nodes are selected.
  • Fixed – Added USD for 3dsMax installation check
  • Fixed – Select the Selected Items in the Scene now select object correctly.
