Material/Map CleanUp

When a material is used in this pmodifier. renderStacks create a material depot and the materials in there because material need a place to go when it is not used in the scene. Same for maps.

Then, when you remove the material or map from pmodifier, renderStacks doesn’t automatically remove them from the depot. We want to be safer than sorry. But, that also means you could accumulate tons of hidden materials and maps.

This utility allow you to see what’s in material and map depot and remove them. It also allow to put them in Slate ME before remove if you need.

There are 2 radio buttons at the top of UI. You can choose to see all or unused material/maps. If you choose to see all materials, “Remove Selected” button will be disabled to prevent removing material/map accidentally.

If you want to keep materials or maps, use “Put into Slate ME” button.

How to remove unused material/map from depot

  1. Select “Unused”
  2. Choose “Material” or “Map”
  3. Select material or map from the list. You can multi select.
  4. Press “Remove Selected”

How to put material/map into Slate ME

  1. Select “Unused” or “All”
  2. Choose “Material” or “Map”
  3. Select material or map from the list. You can multi select.
  4. Press “Put into Slate ME”
